Hurricane Harvey Survivor Lashes Out at Reporter During Interview

Mother gets upset with CNN interviewer after just arriving at hurricane shelter in Houston.

CNN correspondent Rosa Flores asked a mother, identified as Danielle, about how it was to protect her children from rushing flood waters. But Danielle, who had just arrived at the shelter after running from Hurricane Harvey, clearly wasn’t having it and got upset.

“We walked through four feet of water to go get them food on the first day,” the mother said. “Yeah, that’s a lot of s–t.”

“But y’all sit here, y’all trying to interview people during their worst times. Like, that’s not the smartest thing to do,”

“I’m sorry,” Flores responds.

“Like, people are really breaking down and y’all are sitting here with cameras and microphones trying to ask us what the f–k is wrong with us,” the frantic mother continued.

“I’m so sorry,” the reporter insisted.

“And you really trying to understand with the microphone still in my face. With me shivering cold, with my kids wet, and you’re still putting the microphone in my face,” she said before storming out of the interview.

Hurricane Harvey Rescue Blooper

A Fox 26 reporter doing a segment on boat rescuers during Hurricane Harvey in Spring, Texas didn’t realize that the men were passing around shots of Vodka not water.

“That’s really an example what we’re seeing,” the female reporter says. “Look at them sharing water, just out of the cap of that bottle.”

“Yeah, I’m not sure that that was water,” her male counterpart chimes in.

The woman realizes that she might be wrong and responds, “Whatever they need to feel better, guys.”

The person filming the news segment laughs throughout.
