An Asda shelf stacker who looks the spitting image of Ed Sheeran says he gets mobbed by legions of fans when he goes out in public – much to his fuming girlfriends frustration. 25-year-old Wesley Byrne,who didn’t even know who Ed Sheeran was before someone spotted the similarity, is regularly stopped in the street when out and about with 28-year-old girlfriend Leah Howard-Smith and even at work by people convinced hes the ginger crooner and beg for selfies and autographs. He said he was mobbed in the street and admitted he didn’t have the heart to tell kids he isn’t actually Ed. The 25-year-old Ed doppelganger cant even party in peace and once had to show his passport to a boozed-up reveller who, convinced he was the Grammy-nominated star, demanded he start singing.
