They Adopted A Baby Girl, But Didn’t Tell Their Kids Until The Moment They Brought Her Home.

After a 10-month wait, Kasi and Shane Pruitt finally got the news that they were going to be able to adopt a baby girl. However, they decided to keep the adoption a secret from their two daughters, 6-year-old Harper and 11-year-old Raygen, in case it fell through.

Father posted a video on Twitter of the moment his wife carried their new baby into the house, and the two girls met their little sister for the first time. The family originally posted the video on social media as a birth announcement for their friends and family, but it has has since gone viral, and has been viewed on Facebook 85,000 times and retweeted over 16,400 times on Twitter.

The Pruitts have previously adopted two boys, Titus and Elliot, and the kids were aware that their parents had intentions of expanding their family. Shane explained, “Our kids had no clue.” When the girls saw their sister, Harper said, “Are you kidding me?” and an emotional Raygen began to cry. He added, “And they definitely wanted a sister.”
