Naomi Campbell is one of the most iconic models of all time but back in 1994, Campbell was eager to expand her horizons beyond the runway, launching her one (and only) album, Baby Woman. Baby Woman was reviewed by the Mirror with the line, “don’t give up the day job, Naomi”; apparently only sold 175 copies in the first two weeks of its release.
She even appeared on Top of the Pops in a Bollywood-inspired get up to promote her lead single “Love and Tears” with a live performance. The song also got a music video but unfortunately for Campbell, her singing career wasn’t quite as successful as her modelling (though Baby Woman was big in Japan).
